The Fortune Lounge Group of Casinos (Royal Vegas, Platinum Play, 7Sultans, Vegas Palms, Vegas Villa, Fortune Room) have recently announced that as of 28 May, 2010, existing US Players (note that they haven't accepted NEW US players since Microgaming pulled out of the US market) registered on any casino in the network will be moved off the Microgaming platform. The players will be migrated over to a new casino or casinos that will be licensed from a different software provider. They claim that the new software platform will offer players the same look and feel as the Microgaming software, as well as all of the features and most of the games they have come to expect from an online casino.
This follows a similar announcement made very recently by the Playshare group of online casinos that they will be making a similar change as of 1 June.
Fortune Lounge claims that at this time they will not be accepting new registrations from US clients, however it appears that a decision to do so cannot be that far off.
This is the second Microgaming group of casinos to make the announcement. Can the rest of the casinos operating on the Microgaming platform be that far behind?
